Concrete countertops have been common in Mexico and in the southwest for years. Due to designers like Fu-Tung Cheng and Buddy Rhodes and their creativity, have changed the countertop world. Because the process is a custom molded product, each countertop is truly unique and personal. Because of the molding process, items can be set into the forms that personalize the end result, i.e. crushed glass, metal, lights, distinctive stones, etc. These countertops are more porous than granite or quartz, and therefore require more maintenance.
