We worked with Bruce and Concepts in Design from initial concept design through final construction. He presented great ideas that we could never have come up with ourselves. I have worked with Bruce for many years, building and remodeling several of his designs for his clients. I have a great respect for Bruce and I believe that he truly cares for his clients and desires that they get the best function with a great design on each job. My wife and I personally are planning to build our "empty nester" home soon, and even though I am in the construction business and could pull off an OK design myself, My wife and I hired Bruce and his staff to design a one-of-a-kind home. My husband and I first met Bruce over 10 years ago at a home show when we were looking for ideas for a house we had just purchased but had no idea how to renovate. We made an appointment with Bruce and another designer to meet with them to get ideas for our home. Needless to say, after meeting with Bruce we cancelled the other appointment and have never looked back. He brought us a beautiful, creative design for our home which we have done in stages with spectacular results. Our home is under another stage of the design now and I cannot wait to see how it turns out. His brilliant ideas and creativity never cease to amaze me even when I was unsure how it would look. I should never doubt him as it is always beautiful and so much more than I could ever have imagined.

We have worked with Bruce on several projects; the first of which was a basement finish with a contemporary flair. Bruce is a self-described “old hippy” who has not lost his flair for creative thinking. We were so pleased with our collaborative efforts on the basement project that we decided in 2002 to work with him on a contemporary home design. The building site was a fairly steep slope with a river valley view. Through the joint efforts of Bruce and our builder, we were able to stay within budget and build a “showcase” home. We have since hired Bruce to design an atrium addition to our home.
